Do I have to pay to use the Ecology Forums?
No! The forums are completely free to use.
Do I have to register to use the Ecology Forums?
Yes! The Ecology Forums are for Ecology Building Society members only. You will not be able to read posts or add your own messages unless you register.
Once you register, your Ecology Forums membership will then need to be manually approved by our forum moderators before you can start using the system. Only Ecology Building Society members over the age of 18 will be approved. New registrations may take several days to approve as this is a manual process.
Can I remain anonymous when I register?
No! In order to confirm that you are a member of the Ecology Building Society, we will need to ask for certain key pieces of information (e.g. e-mail address, name and postcode). However this information will not be displayed to other forum users unless you specifically choose for this to happen.
What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password just use the Lost Password? link on the Ecology Forums login page. You will simply need to enter the e-mail address which you use to log in with. The sytem will then automatically send you your password.
For security reasons we can never see passwords you set yourself, nor can we alter them.
Once you have logged in again with your new password, you can change it to anything you like by altering your Profile via the My Space link in the Go menu tab near the top left of every forum page.
What if my e-mail address (or anything else) changes?
If you need to change the e-mail address that you have registered with the Ecology Forums (or any other information for that matter), just click on the Go menu tab near the top left of every forum page. Choose My Space from the menu, and then amend your Profile as required.
What if I need more help with the Ecology Forums?
The Ecology Forums area itself has a comprehensive help section. Go to any page on the forums site and select Help from the Tools menu tab near the top left of every forum page.
