Hand made tile making has been taking place at Burwell in Cambridgeshire since 1993. All tiles are manufactured by the local workforce from locally dug Cambridge Gault clay. The tiles are produced in the traditional way with wooden moulds and allowed to air dry before being fired in the kiln.
