NB: Please note the following addendum to our Terms and Conditions regarding transactions:
The central clearing for cheques and automated payments is normally three working days, however as the Society is not a bank your cheque will take 10 calendar days to clear (including bank holidays). Although you are normally able to withdraw against a cheque paid into your account ten days after we have received it this does not always mean the cheque has been "cleared". If the cheque is not "cleared" you will have to repay us the amount of the withdrawal.
