Member Survey 2017

Member survey: have your say

Thank you for visiting the Member Survey page. Below you will find information on why we’re carrying out the survey and how you can complete it.

By taking part, you will help Ecology to remain strong and effective in its mission to build a greener society. For every completed survey, we will donate 25p to international development charity, Practical Action, which will be matched by our survey partner – Fineline – up to the value of £500.

Please submit your completed survey by 5pm on Friday 19 January 2018.

Why is Ecology inviting me to complete a survey?

Ecology is your society, so we want to make sure it’s being operated in a way that reflects your needs and priorities. What are your thoughts about the Ecology account(s) that you hold? Do you think Ecology is doing enough in its mission to build a greener society? And what do you consider to be the most urgent environmental and social issues that we face today? Your answers to these questions will help to guide Ecology’s future direction.

How do I complete the survey?

You can complete the survey online, over the phone or via post. Whichever way you choose, please make sure we have received your completed survey by 5pm on Friday 19 January 2018.

The survey data will be collated and analysed by Fineline; this analysis will then be shared with Ecology. No personal information will be passed to any other third party.

What’ll happen with the survey results?

We want to be confident that our work reflects what matters to Ecology’s members. The results of the survey will help to inform the development of our services, as well as our mission and values.

We will be sharing these developments with members as they progress.

Who is Fineline?

The 2017 survey is being managed by Fineline Market Research – a dedicated UK-based team of market researchers.

If you hold an Ecology savings account, you may have previously spoken with somebody from Fineline as we have been working with them to gain a better understanding of our savers’ experiences so that we can improve our service.

As well as managing the 2017 survey, Fineline will continue to periodically contact Ecology members to ask them about their experiences with us. If you have any questions about this, or wish to opt out of future surveys, please call us on 01535 650 770. Fineline adheres to the Market Research Society Code of Conduct.
