Our new Single Access Saver offers a monthly variable interest rate of 4.25% AER**/4.17% gross* variable until 31 October 2027, with one penalty-free withdrawal available each calendar year.
We’ve launched our new Ecology Single Access Saver, giving savers the opportunity to earn a competitive rate while their money helps support positive community projects and the creation of energy-efficient homes that are kinder to the planet.
The account offers a monthly variable interest rate of 4.25% AER**/4.17% gross* variable until 31 October 2027 and allows customers immediate access to their money once per calendar year through one penalty-free withdrawal.
The Single Access Saver can be opened with a minimum balance of £2,000, with customers able to save up to £500,000.
Applications can be made through the Ecology App, available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, or online through our website.

Ecology Single Access Saver: key details
- 4.25% AER**/4.17% gross* variable until 31 October 2027, with interest paid monthly.
- The AER stated assumes funds are deposited before 1 November 2026. From 1 November 2027, the rate will change to match our Eco Double Access Saver – Monthly Interest account, currently 3.45% AER/3.40% gross.
- One penalty-free withdrawal per calendar year. A subsequent withdrawal in the same calendar year will result in the account being closed.
- £2,000 minimum operating balance.
- £500,000 maximum deposit.
- Available to UK residents aged 18 and over.
- Apply through the Ecology App or online.
