Based on an interest rate of 2.00% gross, the balance on a £1,000 deposit after 12 months would be £1,020.00.
We may change interest rates at any time.
Where we make any such change, we’ll act reasonably. We’ll only make the change if we believe it’s fair in the circumstances.

Applications for this account can be made via the Ecology App or online.
Accounts can be opened in single names only online or via the app. Joint accounts or accounts for children are not available for this account
You can manage your account online or via the Ecology App.
With our Online Service and Ecology App, you can view your account transactions and make payments and withdrawals.
Deposits can be made from your linked account by Standing Order, bank transfer or transfer from another Ecology account.
The minimum amount to open and keep an Ecology Impact account is £25. The maximum investment is £500,000.
UK residents aged 18+ can open an account online.
Yes, you can withdraw money. There is no notice period for withdrawals with the Ecology Impact account.
Withdrawals can be requested online or via our App.
Withdrawals for £25,000 or more must be requested by telephone. If a withdrawal would take the account balance below the required amount to keep the account open (£25), the account will have to be closed.
Accounts can be closed at any time upon request.
On 2 January 2030 your account will automatically become an Ecology Easy Access account. You will be contacted before this date to remind you and tell you of other options available at that time.
You can have multiple withdrawals on notice at the same time.
For withdrawals via the app or online service, there is a daily £25,000 limit. For higher withdrawal amounts, please call Member Services.
