Voting Now Open For Ecology’s AGM

We’ve sent members their AGM packs which includes our Annual Review 2020 and, for members who are eligible, you can now cast your votes ahead of our AGM.

Your AGM pack has been sent by post or email and contains all the information that you need to vote. Voting is your chance to have your say in Ecology’s work and we want to hear what you think.

Notice of AGM

Please read the voting information in the Notice of Annual General Meeting.

This year’s AGM resolutions include a Special Resolution to amend the Society’s Rules to allow for virtual meetings, including online voting should they be necessary. Further details are available in the Additional Voting Information booklet here.

The full version of the Rules including all proposed changes being considered at this AGM is here.

How do I vote?

When you receive your voting pack by post or email you can vote in the following ways:

Online by following the link on your email. The online voting service will be available 24 hours a day until 5.00 pm on 26 April 2021.

By post, which must be received by the scrutineers by 5pm on Monday 26 April.

We’ll donate 50p to environmental charity Trees for Cities for every member who votes online and 20p for every member who votes by post.

This year’s AGM

Due to ongoing uncertainty and restrictions, this year’s AGM is being held online on Wednesday 28 April at 10.00 am.

You will be able to access a live stream and submit questions online but unfortunately will not be able to vote at the meeting itself.

Join our AGM online

If you are an eligible voting member and wish to participate in the meeting, please select the relevant option when you vote online or on your voting form. We will then email you details of how to access the live stream and how you can submit questions during the meeting.

Ask the Directors

You can submit your question in advance of the AGM to the Board by emailing [email protected] by 5pm on Monday 26 April.

Voting results

We will publish the voting results, along with a recording of the meeting and the answers to your questions, on our website as soon as possible following the AGM.
