Autumn 2017 Members’ Meet-up

News

We’re taking Ecology on the road again so that more members can hear how our lending is helping to build a greener society and have a direct say into our policies and practice. Our next regional Members’ Meet-up takes place at 3pm on Monday 6 November at Holyoake House in Manchester.

We will be discussing how Ecology can support the renovation and retrofit of the UK’s existing housing stock, a key element in building the greener society. We will hear how Ecology borrowers are putting our sustainable lending into practice through their own renovation as well as hearing from Manchester based Carbon Co-op who are offering a series of home energy efficiency and retrofit training courses, supported by Ecology.

Members will also have the opportunity to quiz Directors on our plans for the next ten years so that we can continue to grow in a sustainable mission-driven way. The venue for the Meet-up is Holyoake House, the home of Co-operatives UK, which exists to support the interests of consumer co-operatives.

We hope to see as many of our members as possible in Manchester on the 6 November.
