You can now transfer existing Cash ISA savings into our Ecology Double Access Cash ISA, giving more of your savings the opportunity to support projects that benefit the environment and communities across the UK.
We accept transfers of some or all of your current and previous tax years’ Cash ISA savings, including funds held in an existing Ecology Cash ISA. Transferring existing ISA funds does not use any additional current-year ISA allowance—even if you’ve already used your allowance for new savings.
Your savings, making a difference
Our Ecology Double Access Cash ISA offers a variable interest rate of 4.65% AER / 4.55% tax free, with interest paid monthly. From 1 December 2027, the rate will change to match the Ecology Cash ISA rate applicable at that time.
You can open and maintain the account with £50 and make two withdrawals each calendar year without notice or charge. Any further withdrawal requires you to close the account. This is not a flexible ISA.
Pauline Crawford, Senior Savings Product and Proposition Manager at Ecology Building Society, said:
“Accepting Cash ISA transfers gives savers more choice about where they keep their existing ISA savings. Whether you’ve saved this tax year or built up your ISA over several years, you can now bring those funds to Ecology Building Society and help support sustainable homes and communities while earning tax-free interest.”
