December 2023’s Mortgage Rate Increases

Today, we’re increasing the interest rates on some of our mortgage accounts.

We work hard to carefully balance the needs of all our Members in all we do, and raising our mortgage rate is never an easy decision to make. Since December 2021, the Bank of England base rate has risen by 5.00%. During this time, we’ve kept our residential rate increases to 2.39% (including this change).

We’re also increasing the interest rate on some of our commercial mortgages. We’ve written to any Members affected by these changes.
