Savings Account Interest Rate Changes

News

We are increasing the interest rates on a number of our savings accounts (with effect from 30 October 2018).

As a result of these increases, the rate on all Ecology savings accounts will be above the Bank of England base rate (0.75%).

Variable mortgage rates remain unchanged.

We continually review our mortgage and savings account ranges and aim to balance the needs of our savers and borrowers. As always, our members can be confident that the money they save with Ecology is continuing to support projects that respect the environment and sustainable communities.

A table showing the previous and the revised rate for the accounts affected by this change is detailed below. There are no other changes to our savings account(s).

**AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and provides a means of comparing interest rates by showing what the rate would be if interest was paid and added once a year.
