Ecology Wins Self-Build Mortgage Award

We’ve been recognised in the Mortgage Finance Gazette (MFG) awards.

Ecology was the winner in the Best Self Build Lender category. This category aims to recognise excellence when providing mortgages for self- and custom-build.

The award recognises Ecology’s role as a leading supporter of self- and custom-build in the UK for nearly forty years. The judges were impressed with our flexible approach to meet the needs of self-builders and high levels of customer satisfaction, as well as our pioneering C-Change mortgages which incentivise people to build energy efficient homes.

Our ecological mission means that our objective isn’t the provision of lending itself. Instead we are interested in the positive environmental impact of our mortgages. This makes us uniquely committed to supporting borrowers throughout their project to ensure they can realise their vision of a sustainable self- or custom-build.
