Ecology Maintains ‘Green’ Accreditation

We’ve maintained our ‘Green’ accreditation for the third year running under the Investors in the Environment (IIE) scheme – the highest level of accreditation possible. This reflects both our current environmental performance and our commitment to ongoing improvement.

Our key achievements in 2016 included:

• 16%* decrease in use of gas and 8%* reduction in use of electricity
• 33%* decrease in water consumption of by expanding the use of our rainwater harvesting system to include watering our organic permaculture gardens
• Further decreases in toner usage and business mileage

Despite the challenge of continually achieving year on year reductions, we remain committed to a year on year target to reduce our overall resource use by 2%**
