We’re making some big improvements to our online banking service in 2025.

Why are we doing this?

We’ve listened to your feedback. You want it to be easier to manage your accounts. You want it to be simpler to update your details. You want us to be faster at processing payments. And you want an Ecology App so that you can choose how you use our services.

All this is coming next year. Through the Ecology app you’ll be able to open new accounts in just a few clicks. You’ll have instant access to your information. And you’ll benefit from all the latest security features.

But don’t worry if you want to continue to access your accounts through our website on your laptop or PC. These improvements will be made here too.

Are your details up to date?

We’re doing lots to make this change happen quickly and easily. You can help by checking if your details with us are up to date.


If you’re already using online banking via our website, you can check and update your details there, and add any missing information. We’d also recommend
adding a nominated bank account now, if you’ve not got one already. This should be a UK bank account in your name, which will receive any withdrawals from your Ecology account. Having a nominated account improves security and helps Ecology to comply with money laundering regulations.

Our positive impact
