**AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and provides a means of comparing interest rates by showing what the rate would be if interest was paid and added once a year.

You can apply for this account online, through the Ecology App, or, if you’re unable to operate an account online, by submitting a completed application form. Only one account can be opened per customer.
This account is available to UK residents aged 18 or over and can only be opened in a single name. Joint accounts and accounts for children are not available.
You can manage your account online or through the Ecology App. You can use these to view your account transactions and manage your savings. Alternatively, if you are unable to use online services, you can manage your account via post and telephone. Please contact our Member Services team for more information.
Deposits can be made from your linked bank account by standing order or bank transfer, or by transferring funds from another Ecology account.
You can save up to £200 each month, with a maximum annual amount of £2,400 per calendar year. You are not required to make a deposit every month. You can pay in up to £200 per month in one or more transactions. Any amount paid in above the £200 monthly limit will be automatically returned to your linked account. If you do not pay in £200 in a month, this cannot be paid in future months.
A minimum balance of £10 is required to keep the account open.
This account is not available for children, trusts or joint account holders.
You cannot withdraw money from this account until it matures one year after opening. If you need to access your money you must close your account.
There is no notice period for closing the Ecology Regular Saver. Accounts can be closed at any time upon request with no penalty.
Closures can be requested online or via our Ecology App, by telephone, or if you operate your account by post, by using one of our withdrawal forms which you can download from our website.
We will write to you one month before your account matures (11 months after you’ve opened the account) to let you know of the options available at maturity.
If you do not tell us what you would like us to do with the funds in your Ecology Regular Saver, your account will automatically transfer into an Easy Access account after maturity.
