Launch Screening Of ‘Britain’s Housing Crisis’

News

As part of our commitment to support community-led and affordable housing, we’re sponsoring the launch of Britain’s Housing Crisis – A People-Powered Solution?, a new documentary film which highlights how community-led housing offers a sustainable fix to the housing affordability crisis.

This has been produced by award-winning TV and radio presenter Peg Alexander and Jon King from leading Bradford-based video production house, Envisuals.

The film’s premiere will be followed by a panel debate between community housing experts, with questions from the audience. The session will be chaired by Peg and speakers include: Maria Brenton, UK Cohousing Network Trust; Tom Chance, National CLT Network; Steve Hoey, Leeds Community Housing; Emma Ridge, Wrigleys Solicitors; and Paul Ellis from Ecology.

The event takes place at the Everyman Cinema in Leeds on Tuesday 11 September from 5pm.

To book your place please visit the dedicated Eventbrite site here.

This event is being organised by Envisuals in partnership with Leeds Community Homes and sponsored by Ecology Building Society.
