Welcome to Ecology’s first high‑street branch

We’re launching our first ever branch in Porth this April and you can stay up to date now by following our Facebook page and signing up to our Porth newsletter.
We believe that having access to trusted, face‑to‑face banking matters – especially in places where local services have disappeared. That’s why we’re opening our doors in Porth, bringing secure, ethical and accessible support back to the high street.
We’ll be updating this page regularly as things progress. You can read more about our Porth opening in the announcement here.
Keep up to date through our Facebook page, and sign up to the Porth Newsletter.
What you’ll find at the Ecology Porth Branch
A warm, face-to-face service
Our in‑branch team will be here to help with:
- opening and managing Ecology savings accounts
- conversations about ethical mortgages
- support with forms, applications and general queries
Private meeting spaces will also be available for conversations with a colleague from our Member Services Team who serve over 15,000 customers. The Society enjoys an ‘Excellent’ rating on Trustpilot and 4.9/5.0 rating on smartmoneypeople.com

Free access to cash
Our innovative kiosk machines offer free cash withdrawals and deposits for everyone – whether or not you bank with us.
This will make everyday banking easier for:
- local residents
- small businesses
- community groups
No long journeys. No unnecessary costs.
A community space for Porth
Inside the branch, we’re creating a shared space where local groups can:
- host activities and workshops
- run wellbeing sessions
- meet, connect and support one another
We want the branch to be a community hub on Porth’s high street, supporting local connections and wellbeing.
