Ecology’s Response To The Bank Of England Base Rate Change

Following the recent increase in the Bank of England base rate to 0.5% we do not currently have plans to make changes to our savings or standard variable mortgage rates.

Our mission is to build a greener society and our savers’ money supports ecological building practices and sustainable communities.

Maintaining our current rates for as long as possible will enable us to provide lending for more projects that have a positive environmental and social impact.

We also have no plans to change our C-Change discounts scheme, which recognises the energy efficiency of the property when the project is completed.
