Members’ Newsletter October 19

Newsletter

The latest issue of Ecology News, the newsletter for Ecology members, is now available to view here.

This issue includes a focus on the climate and ecological crisis. Our climate emergency declaration, on page 1, sets out how we’re playing our part in global efforts to keep planetary warming within the critical 1.5°C limit – the target agreed at the 2015 Paris climate talks.

As well as a round-up of the latest news from Ecology, we highlight our support for two pioneering community housing schemes – the Open House Project in Sheffield and the award-winning Granby 4 Streets in Liverpool. Plus, we celebrate Ecology being recognised in the prestigious Finance for the Future awards and welcome Trees for Cities, our new charity partner, following the 2018 charity vote.

We’ve also arranged for Ecology members to have the opportunity to support Centrepoint, the UK’s leading homelessness charity, by taking part in one of their SleepOuts, during November, at a special reduced rate. Turn to page 8 to find out how you can join in.

We do hope members enjoy reading about how we’re making a positive impact and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for their continued support.
